Everything was great. staff. - Awesome views of the bay. - the breakfast was delicious, with freshly made meals.

it was relaxing, quiet and with a balcony. the hotel was placed in the remote location in lieu of restaurant being open.

Possibly the best and very very good stay of 5 nights. Nice and perfect location to Kangaroo island-an interesting place which we enjoyed with views on cooler evenings. Near to American River-birds as well as the native bush garden.

The setting at the Wanderer's Rest restaurant was breathtaking with its views of the bay and it's conveniently located near other dining options.

It was a joy spending time in the beautifully designed and reasonably large room with the water through the natural bush, a great view, TV. The location was beautiful and lovely, minutes from old town There were a local store and stores around the hotel;))

The hosts are very accommodating and friendly.

Accommodations were ridiculously expensive compared to the luxury two-bedroom apartment we had in Cairns for 1/2 the price per night of a room on Kangaroo Island.

Friendly staff greet you warmly upon arrival, the rooms are clean, cozy, and offer a beautiful view of the water surrounded by nature.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was neat and tidy and had a great view across the bay. This hotel was a great base to enjoy the many attractions and activities of Kangaroo Island but also to settle back and enjoy the serenity of American River.

The location of this place was excellent, being right next to American River with birds and animals, many attractions, a hill, and easy access.

The facility and site are lovely; lots of wildlife, lovely garden and great view from the deck. Clean and well-stocked room was very comfortable and quiet. Friendly, knowledgeable hosts.Tho it's a bit of a trek to get to Kingscote restaurants, especially at night, the one we chose was very good.

We had to show documentation on the Booked.net rate confirmed or would have been charged full rack rate. Food is very pricey and we wouldn't do that again; continental breakfast really should be included in the price, so inquire, don't assume.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly. The restaurant here was excellent for dinner, we both ordered excellent dishes.

river suites, kangaroo island surpassed my expectations during my recent business stay in american river. the room was spacious, clean, and had a breathtaking view from the balcony. the owners, kim and steve, were incredibly hospitable and treated us like friends. the food was outstanding, with kim's daughter preparing delicious meals. overall, it was a fantastic experience and i look forward to returning.

This place is situated in a serene setting close to nature with birds, animals, and a hillside nearby, as well as being conveniently located near the airport.

I appreciated this small hotel for its quiet atmosphere and lovely staff. I was satisfied with the relaxing and beautiful room. - the location was great and fantastic; for example, Buick Point was not very far from the venue.
